Switching to obsidian-remote-ssh from another sync solution. Currently one detailed guide; more will land as users hit them.

| From Obsidian Sync | Obsidian’s official paid sync service — the closest peer in spirit |
Coming later (open an issue if you want one prioritised)
- From Syncthing
- From Dropbox / iCloud / OneDrive (vault-in-sync-folder pattern)
- From Obsidian Git
- From Nextcloud
- From the Remotely Save plugin
Before you migrate
Read Comparison vs other Obsidian sync tools first. If your model fits the tool you’re already using better than it fits this plugin, the right answer might be “stay where you are” — that’s a fine outcome.
